What a tax invoice in New Zealand must show

- Date of the invoice
- Description of the goods or services
- Amount payable, with GST shown or a statement that it is included
- Buyer’s name and contact details, for sales over NZ$1,000

Does New Zealand still use the term “tax invoice”?
Since April 2023, tax invoices have been replaced by “taxable supply information”. The document no longer has to be titled “Tax Invoice”, but it must still contain the required details.
